Sunday, March 24-1:00-4:00 p.m.

Join us for some fun down at the Cozy Grove Sugar Shack. This annual event only takes place in the spring and is fun for the whole family. Stop on down and learn all the steps to making maple syrup. We'll teach you how to tap a tree, how to hang and dump buckets and the cooking process. Stay for a while and enjoy the fresh air and sweet smells that making maple syrup has to offer.

The sugar shack is located 2 miles south of Algona on HWY 169 at Smith Wildlife Area. The shack is about a quarter-mile hike down a hill. Plan for mud and slippery conditions. Please call 515-295-2138 for more information.
