Treat your family to fun and educational skits along the dark trails of Smith Lake. The theme this year is "To Bee or not to B." Enjoy hot popcorn and cider before and after your hike. A complete hike is about 25 minutes long and hikes leave the nature center every 5 minutes. This is a FREE event open to everyone. There will be kids activities before your hike. This is not a scary event but children of all ages must be with an adult. Don't forget your flashlights. Call 295-2138 for more information.

1:00-4:00 - Pumpkin Carving (Free)
7:00-8:30 - Drive-Thru ($5)

Come carve some pumpkins for a good cause. Show up at our Maintenance Shop to carve some creative pumpkins. Then return in the evening to see everyone's creations lit up and displayed throughout the campground. Cost is $5 per car to drive-thru Jack-O'-Lantern Lane in the evening. All money raised will go toward Environmental Education in Kossuth County. This event is sponsored by Algona Rotary and all pumpkins are donated by Scuffhams.
